Wade Barrett Nixed From Main Event, Chris Jericho Performs In NYC, Birthdays

– Wade Barrett was advertised to face Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus in the main event at Saturday’s SmackDown live event at Wells Fargo Center in Des Moines, Iowa but the match was changed to a 2-out-of-3 Falls bout between Sheamus and Del Rio. Barrett instead faced Tyson Kidd, who he defeated.
