Report: Vince McMahon Calls For Complete Re-Write Of Tonight's SmackDown Live (Updated)

It looks like Vince McMahon is at it again in terms of last-minute changes to the script for an episode of WWE television.

According to Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com, the WWE Chairman has “called in the SmackDown creative team to totally rewrite the show” for tonight’s live broadcast on the USA Network.

Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet tweeted the following, which Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com has confirmed:

Hearing from sources that Vince McMahon called in the SmackDown creative team to totally rewrite the show today

Additionally, WWE has already officially changed an advertised match for tonight’s show.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods) will now face The O.C. (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) in a six-man tag match tonight. SmackDown Tag Team Champions Big E & Woods facing Drew McIntyre & Elias in a non-title match was originally announced for the episode.
