Fans of New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS TV will be happy to hear the news that AXS has decided to exercise their option and bring back the show for another 12 episodes.
The second season (or “cycle” as they call it) begins on Friday, May 22nd, with the Best of The Super Juniors Tournament XXI kicking things off. Eight of the shows will be focused on the 24th G1 Climax tourney and three shows from Dominion 6.21 will wrap things up. Mauro Ranallo and Josh Barnett will be back to call the action.
Season one wraps up a week from this Friday with Kaz Okada vs. AJ Styles for the IWGP title. As always, get your recaps here every Friday night/Saturday morning.
