Bray Wyatt Returns, Miz Missing Extreme Rules, ROH/Hendrix Update

Bray Wyatt and “Woken” Matt Hardy have been involved in a feud with Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas on Raw lately, but a potential match between the two teams was put in jeopardy after it was confirmed that Wyatt was injured in a car accident last weekend. Wyatt reportedly received several injuries and missed his scheduled appearance on Raw earlier this week. Although Wyatt’s status for Extreme Rules had been up in the air, Wyatt just made a surprise return during a recent WWE live event in Philadelphia last night. He teamed up with Hardy to defend the tag team titles, and the duo ended up winning the match. It should not take long now for Wyatt to return to television now that he is back in good condition.

Bray Wyatt was NOT pulled from live events, because he’s here tonight and the belts are on the line. #WWEPhilly pic.twitter.com/U5kkLMQGTf

Relatively short (or felt like it), but the Deleters of Worlds retained. Bray DID see action. Outwardly looks fine and was moving pretty well. A delightful defense. #WWEPhilly pic.twitter.com/eNZZBRt38t

The Miz has truly emerged as a respected member of the WWE roster over the years, and fans cannot wait to see him and Daniel Bryan compete against each other in a match someday. Unfortunately, The Miz will not be competing at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view on July 15th. According to a report from PWInsider, Miz will be busy participating in the All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game that will be taking place in Washington DC on the same day as WWEs Extreme Rules show. The game featuring the former WWE Champion will be airing on ESPN the following day. The Miz will continue to wrestle on Smackdown each Tuesday night, as well as at future WWE live events.
Former Ring of Honor competitor Taeler Hendrix made some serious and disturbing allegations earlier this week when she claimed that current ROH World Champion Jay Lethal had her removed from ROH programming after he refused to sleep with her. Hendrix has since doubled down on her accusations, but Lethal still has not commented on her statements. Meanwhile, Ring of Honor has just sent out a response stating that the promotion takes her accusations very seriously, and that officials will now be officially conducting an investigation into the matter. Be sure to stay tuned for any additional updates on the controversy between Taeler Hendrix and Jay Lethal.
