Viewership For The Extreme Rules Fallout Episode Of RAW Rises Up

This week’s episode of RAW was able to generate an average of 2.866 million viewers. This is up 16% from last week’s 2.470 million viewers, which was a new viewership low for 2018 and the lowest RAW viewership in history, coming in under the 2.478 million viewers from the September 26th, 2016 episode, which went up against the Trump – Clinton Presidential Debate and Monday Night Football. This week’s episode of RAW was the fallout episode of Sunday’s Extreme Rules PPV Event with Bobby Lashley vs. Seth Rollins vs. Elias in the main event.
For this week’s show, the first hour drew 3.118 million viewers (last week’s hour 1 – 2.582 million), the second hour drew 2.859 million viewers (last week’s hour 2 – 2.508 million) and the final hour drew 2.622 million viewers (last week’s hour 3 – 2.320 million), a big 16% drop from the first hour. The first hour was the highest rated first hour since the April 16th episode, which featured the Superstar Shakeup.
RAW was #7 for the night in viewership on cable, behind the Home Run Derby on ESPN, Hannity, The Rachel Maddow Show, Tucker Carlson Tonight, Last Word and Special Report. RAW was #2 in the 18-49 demographic, behind the Home Run Derby. The Derby also topped the night in viewership with 5.567 million viewers. The Bachelorette drew 6.312 million viewers on broadcast TV in the 8PM hour while TKO drew 2.573 million viewers, American Ninja Warrior drew 5.192 million viewers, So You Think You Can Dance drew 2.419 million viewers and Penn &Teller drew 1.398 million viewers, all in the 8PM hour on broadcast TV.
