With SummerSlam in the rear view, WWE will switch gears to their next PPV event.
WWE will present their Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas at the AT&T Center and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Both Raw and SmackDown brands will be featured.
A few weeks ago, advertisements were released that featured several matches expected to take place at the show. Keep in mind that plans change all the time and cards are subject to change.
Originally advertised was Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens. However, that match is likely to change due to Reigns winning the Universal Title. Dave Meltzer noted on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that Reigns vs. Strowman will be the top feud on the Raw brand and likely the main event of Hell in a Cell. Here are the other matches advertised for the show:
AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship
Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre
