NXT June TV tapings results: Nakamura, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Andrade Almas

– Dark Match: Tucker Knight beat Patrick Clark
– The Authors Of Pain (w/Paul Ellering) beat Sean Swags and CJ O’Doyle (enhancement talents)
– Carmella beat Tessa Blanchard
Crowd booed Blanchard on the way to the ring. Carmella used her leglock submission for the win
– TM61 beat Blake and Murphy
Blake and Murphy gave it one more chance to be a team. Loud “Where’s Alexa?” chants. Miscommunication late in the match allowed TM61 to hit their double spinebuster for the win.
– Andrade Cien Almas beat Tye Dillinger
This TakeOver rematch had a better pace. Sharp snap rana by Almas and the running knees got him the win.
– An in-ring promo with Finn Balor was interrupted by Shinsuke Nakamura. They challenge each other for a future match. Amazing segment with some heartfelt mic work by Finn and some unreal crowd reaction for the confrontation.
– Ember Moon (fka Athena) beat Mandy Rose
May not have been taped for TV but the hard cam was on. Solid match with these two being familiar working each other from the recent live events Top rope stunner by Moon to win it.
– Oney Lorcan (former Biff Busick/Chris Girard) beats Tye Dillinger
Intense match and some hard hitting lariats and kicks. Big win for Oney in his TV debut.
– No Way Jose beat Josh Woods
Fun short match with Jose getting the quick win. Austin Aries came out to interrupt the fiesta. He plays along with Jose and dances, but then turns on him and beats him down.
– Bayley beat Deonna Purrazzo
Belly To Bayley for the win in good short match. She is nl longer selling the injured knee, btw.
– Nia Jax beat Liv Morgan
Powerbomb in a quick match. Dominant win by Jax,
Then, we got a possible retape as Dillinger calls out Almas. They did some work, teased a countout, and yet the bell never rang.
– Shinsuke Nakamura beat Buddy Murphy after the Kinshasa
– Alexa Bliss beat Carmella
Long well-paced match with Alexa getting the win with the sparkle splash
– Andrade cien Almas beat Noah
Running knees finish for the win.
– Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa beat The Hype Bros
Post match, they took the mic and wanted to be next in line for the titles. American Alpha interrupts and says they’re taking back the titles, The Revival interrupts and say they’re the A team and drive the car in the division. William Regal then announces a 2-of-3 falls match between Alpha and Revival. The Authors Of Pain then destroyed Alpha, and Gargano and Ciampa try to make the save but are also destroyed. Authors of Pain stand tall.
– NXT Champion Samoa Joe beat Oney Lorcan
Physical match with Joe taking everything Lorcan had to offer before hitting the muscle buster for the win.
