Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins Advertised, Meet Carmella’s Parents

Monday Night Raw this week proved to be a very heartbreaking edition of the show. Not only did Roman Reigns relinquish his Universal Championship after announcing that his leukemia had returned, but Dean Ambrose would then go on to turn on Seth Rollins just moments after the two of them captured the Raw Tag Team Championships. The Shield is definitely finished for now, and it seems likely that Ambrose and Rollins will now begin a feud that will span for quite some time. With Ambrose’s heel turn reportedly taking place months before originally planned, WWE will be accelerating the rivalry between the two former friends, but their matches will be taking place over the course of several months.
With Roman Reigns now out of action indefinitely, The Shield has imploded, and Ambrose has turned his back on Seth Rollins. According to a number of advertisements, quite a few matches between Ambrose and Rollins will be taking place within the next few months. The two of them are advertised to compete against each other on the Raw before WrestleMania 35 in April. Additionally, the match is also booked and scheduled to take place on WWE’s upcoming live events. Rollins and Ambrose feuded when The Shield originally split in 2015, but they reunited last year and won the Raw Tag Team Championships. Despite recently regaining the titles, these two former world champions will be engaging in a blood feud very soon.
On WWE’s YouTube channel, the company has been uploading a few short documentaries and web exclusives. One series that WWE has been releasing lately is “My Son/Daughter is a WWE Superstar,” which allows fans to meet the parents of a member of the WWE roster and explore their upbringing. The latest wrestler to be featured on the show is former SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella. “The Princess of Staten Island” discusses having a wrestling father and how her parents supported her choices to move to Los Angeles, work as a cheerleader, and of course, eventually become a WWE Superstar.
