Toni Nadal reveals the three secrets behind Rafael, Federer's longevity

In an interview, commented on the importance of being prepared tennis-wise, physically and mentally in order to get to the top at any level. Toni said: I think that technique, body and head are the key both if you are Nadal and .

Both one and the other, like any other who has options to seek the No. 1, need to have these three things as something developed. Another thing is that you are a specialist on the technique and the other is mental. You have not just one way or combination of these elements as a key to make to stand out in tennis or any other environment.

You need to get a 10 in technique, a 8 in body but you cannot triumph with a 10, 4 and 3. Toni also shared his proudness for living unbelievable years with Rafa on the ATP Tour. Under his guide, the 32-year-old won 17 Grand Slams.

I have very good memories of all the years I spent with Rafael, in training, competitions, in the life on the Tour and in clubs and tournaments. I had the luck to be with a player who also had the luck that everything went very well to him.

I had the opportunity to live very special moments at Wimbledon, Montecarlo, Roland Garros and in many other tournaments, but it did not go worse to me in all the years that Rafael was in full training, when we worked in our place trying to improve and achieving goals.

Seeing him improving and learning gave me satisfaction. We shared a great passion and a lot of excitement, and it leaves a lot of very good memories. And I cannot forget all the people and friends we met in our world. I think the things were done well, but as I said a lot of times, I was a pretty strict coach.

If I started again I would try being it a little less. On a technique level I would insist on some aspects that, despite working on, was not enough. ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal: Worse players than David Ferrer won a Grand Slam title
