Former WWE Superstar’s Second MMA Fight Booked for Bellator 221

ESPN’s Ariel Helwani reported on Thursday that former WWE Superstar Jake Hager (Jack Swagger) is scheduled to compete at the Bellator 221 event. This show held by the Viacom-owned promotion goes down on May 11th at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It should be noted that his opponent at this event has yet to be confirmed.

 

Featherweight champion Patricio “Pitbull” Freire moving up to 155 pounds to challenge lightweight champion Michael Chandler will serve as the headliner.

 

He beat J.W. Kiser by first-round arm triangle choke in his pro-MMA debut on the main card of Bellator 214 back in January at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
