The New Day Set For WWE Fastlane, Dark Match, King Kong Bundy

The New Day’s Big E, Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston did not make an appearing on last night’s episode of SmackDown LIVE because they have been on a promotional tour of India. They did appear in an interview segment, which can be seen in the video below. During the interview segment, The New Day revealed that they will be appearing at Sunday’s WWE Fastlane PPV Event. Original Fastlane plans had Kofi challenging WWE Champion “The New” Daniel Bryan until WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon brought back Kevin Owens to replace Kofi. It will be interesting to see if they get involved in The Owens vs. Bryan Match on Sunday.

The dark match that took place before last night’s episode of SmackDown LIVE from The Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, PA went on the air saw Heavy Machinery defeat SAnitY’s Alexander Wolfe & Killian Dain. Group Leader Eric Young was at ringside. It was noted that the crowd was behind Tucker & Otis, chanting “steaks and weights” and cheering them on.

Last night’s episode of SmackDown LIVE opened up with a graphic in memory of WWE Legend King Kong Bundy, who recently passed away at the age of 61. You can check out the graphic below:
