•Top Stories of the Week
The card is set for ROH’s 17th Anniversary PPV. This is not really news, but I would just like to point out that WCW was around from 1988-2001, which is 13 years. Happy Birthday ROH!
Marty Scurll has announced that he will cash in his ROH championship opportunity at G1 Supercard. It is assumed the winner of Jay Lethal and Matt Taven will still be champion in 24 days for the event.
Pro Wrestling Sheet has reported that Tenille Dashwood’s contract is expiring at the end of the month. Ryan Satin is also reporting that ROH and Dashwood are actively in negotiations to extend her contract. She is scheduled to make her in-ring return at G1 Supercard if the two can agree to terms.

•Closing Commentary
The time has come for ROH’s 17th anniversary PPV. I would assume that most people who care for and follow ROH on a regular basis will get the PPV, but are any of you really that excited for the card?
I say all of this knowing the Queendom’s presence on social media is vast, and that that group is beyond excited for Friday.
I am curious how many buys this new look ROH will get. We all knew that there would be a dip based on the recalibration of talent in the company. I am interested to see if PPV buys are down over 15% compared to Final Battle. Or is 95% of ROH’s PPV customer base hardcore fans that will most likely not leave for almost any reason?
What do you think? Let me know how successful you think this PPV will be on Friday.
