Nick Kyrgios shows humble side ahead of Australian Open

Rising Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios isnt taking anything for granted as he is eager to make the most out of his upcoming 2019 Australian Open campaign. The 23-year-old was asked by the reporters to declare his claim that theres no guarantee he would play another Australian Open.

The Australian has a history of health issues but will play next week at the opening Grand Slam of the season. Kyrgios 2019 campaign didnt start the way he wanted it as he spent a couple of days in the hospital after bitten by a spider over Christmas.

The 23-year-old made a decision to give a shot to the Brisbane International — where he was beaten in the round-of-16. 2018 Brisbane champion Kyrgios was clearly far from his best at the Brisbane event. Well there is a thing called injury, so you never dont want to take something like this for granted.

I have played in a lot of Grand Slam and I know that nothing is guaranteed, so I want to go out there and make the most out of it, Kyrgios acknowledged when asked why did he say theres no guarantee he would play another Australian Open, as revealed on The Age.
