Over 28,000 Security Personnel Being Deployed In ‘Vulnerable’ Parts Of Kashmir

More than 280 companies of security forces, mostly CRPF are in process to be deployed in the Kashmir valley, official sources said. According to a report in news agencyPTI,security forces are being deployed in vulnerable spots in the Srinagar city and other parts of the Valley.

No reason, however, was given for the sudden deployment of over 280 companies (28,000 troops).
The Central Armed Paramilitary Forces (CAPFs) with small presence of the local police has taken over all the exit points of the city.
