Kate Hudson and her youngest child Bing couldn’t have been more adorable during some precious mother-son time Friday night. The proud mother-of-two bravely allowed her precocious kid, who celebrated his fifth birthday last month, to practice his makeup artistry on her while she captured it all on Snapchat.
“My favorite kinda Friday night,” Hudson captioned an Instagram post that captures the first moments from the series of videos. In the snaps, Bing channels his inner artist, experimenting with technique and color while he gives his mom a bold makeover.
The blonde beauty stayed supportive throughout the session, offering feedback like, “that’s a good color,” “love that,” and “very modern.” Bing’s masterpiece began with dabbing on blush and bronzer with what Hudson coined as the “slapping technique,” even including in the caption, “#SlappingTechniqueOnFire.”
The actress’s little makeup artist-in-the-making then goes bold with color, applying shadow to one eye in shades of pink and to the other in shades of blue.

The proud mom offered endless words of encouragement, remarking, “honey, you’re such an artist,” as her son provided her with pink brows.
“I think we should go to Burning Man. You could be my makeup artist,” Hudson joked as the final look started coming together. “I think it’s very ’80s,” she exclaimed while admiring the end results before appropriately breaking away to lip sync to “Sweet Dreams” by the Eurythmics.
