The only thing that could make watching our favorite hunky actors doing pushups even more amazing is if they did them with their dogs. And luckily for us, that’s exactly what’s happening on the internet right now. A new social media challenge aiming to bring awareness to the suicide rate among U.S. veterans has been taking Hollywood by storm, and on Monday, Chris Evans (and his dog, Dodger) became the latest duo to take part in the #22pushupchallenge—named for the 22 vets who commit suicide a day.
It all started when Chris Pratt challenged Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to do 22 pushups on camera (child’s play!) for the cause and his adorable dog Hobbs jumped in and started to lick his face while he did them.
John Krasinski was the next to be challenged, so naturally he roped his dog Finn in for the video. Although he’s cute, Finn wasn’t exactly riveted by his owner’s performance. “Finn, be more adorable,” Krasinski pleaded with his pup.
Next, Krasinski challenged Evans, who brought his energetic dog Dodger into the mix. Easily the most enthusiastic participant in the whole challenge, Dodger was determined to be as involved as possible in his owner’s video (below), and swatted him with his paws, licked and bit his face, and basically stole the show. Despite moments of laughter, Evans manages to finish the challenge.
