Serena Williams won't apologize for US Open actions, says Courier

In an interview to Sports Day Radio, the former world no. 1 said that there will be a lot of pressure on at this years Australian Open after her controversial behavior in the 2018 US Open final.

A few weeks ago, at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi, journalists were asked not to ask Serena questions about that match. However, one reporter still asked her, and the 23-time Grand Slam winner said she had no time to speak about it. Its my view that I dont think were going to be getting any apology from Serena, said Courier.

About Bernard Tomic and Nick Kyrgios, two of the most-spoken Australian players, Courier added: Tomic and Kyrgios shouldnt get a coach [and support team] if theyre not ready to listen to the advice.

They need to be professional all the time… But, its up to them to make the determination of if and when they go all in. Tomic and Kyrgios faced-off against each other at the Kooyong Classic in Melbourne on Wednesday.

Tomic won the match, which had its moments of eccentricities. At the Australian Open, Kyrgios will play Milos Raonic in the first round, while Tomic will take on Marin Cilic. ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal: Worse players than David Ferrer won a Grand Slam title
