PGA TOUR Superstore To Open First CT Location In Norwalk
NORWALK, CT — Connecticut’s first PGA TOUR Superstore is planned to open next summer in Norwalk, according to store officials.
A PGA TOUR Superstore representative confirmed to Patch this week the store is currently planned to open in mid-July but emphasized that opening timeframe could easily change.
The representative was also unable to confirm where in Norwalk the store will be located or what will be present at the store’s eventual grand opening.

Charter Realty, a Westport-based real estate agency, announced on Facebook earlier this month the golf superstore is planned to open at 51 Richards Avenue in the Connecticut Avenue area of the city.
Brokers Peter Levine and William Cafero represented the tenant and landlord, respectively, in this transaction, according to Charter Realty.

“This was a true team effort,” the post reads, “and this deal highlights the power of collaboration valued at Charter.”
Greater Norwalk Chamber President Shannon O’Toole Giandurco said the chamber was excited to welcome a PGA TOUR Superstore to Norwalk.
“The addition of features like the massive putting green and play bays with simulators offer a destination point with the retail experience,” Giandurco said to Patch. “This will surely attract golf enthusiasts from the region and contribute to our local economy.”

The opening will mark the first PGA TOUR Superstore location in Connecticut.
Currently, the closest superstore locations to Norwalk are in areas of New York such as White Plains, Westbury and Commack, as well as Paramus and East Hanover in New Jersey.
PGA TOUR Superstores typically offer a wide range of golf-related products, including clubs, balls, apparel, shoes, gear, simulators and speakers, as well as services such as lessons, clinics, a practice center, a repair shop and players’ clubs.
