New Cookie Spot To Open Doors In Mission Viejo: What To Know
MISSION VIEJO, CA — Got a sweet tooth just in time for the holidays? Cookie Plug, an innovative bakery chain with more than 25 locations nationwide, is opening its newest location in Mission Viejo Saturday.
For its grand opening event, locals were urged to stop in between the hours of 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. to enjoy samples of the bakery’s signature cookie recipes, deals and more.
The bakery is owned and operated by Lake Forest resident, Mani Mirzazadeh, who is eager to introduce Cookie Plug to the area, he told Patch.

“It’s really special to have the opportunity to work alongside family while sharing something you love,” Mirzazadeh said. “These cookies are unlike anything else out there, and I’m eager for locals in the Mission Viejo community to enjoy what we’re serving up.”
The chain was founded in Riverside, California in 2019 and is inspired by graffiti and street art with an aim to add a unique twist to the conventional bakery model.

The brand’s menu offers 12 different recipes including: s’mores, chocolate chip, sugar, fruity pebbles, triple chocolate, strawberry cheesecake and more.
Cookie Plug opens on Saturday, Dec. 14 in Portola Plaza at 27760 Santa Margarita Parkway. The bakery opens at 9 a.m. its opening day and closes at 10 p.m.
