Firefighters Battle Vehicle Blaze At LI Bank: FD
SAYVILLE, NY — The West Sayville Fire Department was called to the scene of a vehicle engulfed in flames in the parking lot of Chase Bank in Oakdale on Monday, according to fire department officials.
According to Suffolk County police, the call came in around 5:15 p.m. and when police arrived, all occupants had gotten out of the vehicle.
Fire department officials said they had received “multiple calls” reporting the fire.

“All four chiefs, engines four and eight, rescue three, fire police 11, and brush six were on the scene within minutes to extinguish the fire and protected the building,” officials said in a statement. “Units operated under the command of Chief of Department Brian D’Onofrio.”
Police told Patch no injuries were reported.
