Nashua North Falls To Bedford; Souhegan Beats Merrimack: New Hampshire Wrestling Results
NASHUA, NH — Nashua North fell to Bedford and Concord on Wednesday night.
The Titans and Bulldogs were tied or traded leads for most of the night, but Bedford pulled away, racking up several forfeits, winning 51 to 30.
For Bedford, Samuel Upham beat Nataliemaye Demmons by fall in the 113 weight category, Alexander Jennings beat Gavin Page by fall in the 138, Jack Bergeron beat Julian Palladini by medical decision, 10-0, Zach Pool bested Fernando Naranjo by fall, Tucker Watson won by fall over Yuri Soraes, and Calvin Bradley beat Connor Rivard by fall. For Nashua, Sebastian Ochoa beat Isabelle Boisvert by fall in the 126, Hayden Durocher beat Fatih Misirli by fall in the 132, and Kayden Vallerand-Kennaeally beat Stephen Gaffney, 15-9, in the 150.

Jackson Ela, Samuel Cowette, Gavin McConnell, and Matthew Been of Bedford all won by forfeit.
In other matches, Craig Burge of Nashua beat Eric Gao of Bedford by a 6-1 decision, while Damien Kasem of Bedford, Ethan Levesque, Nicholas Green, and Camden Santos of Bedford, beat Jace Frost, Caleb Smith, Tavyon Moore, and Connor Rivard by falls.

Salem Bests Lancers
Forfeits helped drive Salem High School to a win over Londonderry, 60 to 24.
Lightweight wrestlers for the Blue Devils were solid throughout the night, while the heavyweights came through for Londonderry. John Blocksidge beat Lucas DeLeon in the 106, Lukas Sanchez bested Lennox DeLeon in 113, Maddox Boudreau beat Cam Roussell in the 120 won, and Caleb O’Rourke beat Dylan Nadeau in the 138, all by fall.
Caleb Holden beat Alexander Lenfest, Conner Parsons beat John Vargas, Brendan Egan beat Henry Griffin, and David Pento bested Lucas Rodrigues, all by fall.
Both Adrian Loria Alicia and Zander Wood from Salem also beat Lachlan Buttle and Blake Buttle of Londonderry by falls.
Winners by forfeit included Spencer Buscema, Talen Walton, Riley O’Brien, and James Nelson.
Amherst Beats Merrimack
While many bouts were won in other communities Wednesday night with the help of forfeits, that was not the case with the meet between Souhegan and Merrimack. There were only two forfeits, both teams split, and the Sabers won, 50 to 21.
In the 113, Charlene Haddad of Merrimack beat Mary Wellen by fall, while Avary Beradinelli won for Merrimack in the 120 by forfeit. Jack Kaler of Souheagan won 16-0 against Seamus Hickey. Connor Sayball of Merrimack won by fall against Allan Bobiak. Soughean won the next six weight categories all by fall: Benjamin Smiley beat Owen Sayball, Cole Brandt beat Luke Emond, Chase Knuckles beat Kael McAloon, Alex Sarfde beat Justin Foss, and Marcus Stout beat Amir Safa.
Darwin Brown-Waters won by forfeit for Souhegan.
In a 5-2 decision, Carter Anderson of Merrimack beat Liam Fisher in the 190.
In the 215 category, Gabriel Holt of Souhegan beat Joseph Elnar by fall while Seamus Wellen beat Cooper Seltsam-Wilps of Merrimack, 7-2.
In extra matches, Seamus Hickey of Merrimack beat Owen Kostecki by fall, John Burkhard of Souhegan beat Jack Anderson, Mason Caron of Merrimack won by pin against Ava Burbee, Cole Mobley of Souhegan bested Brayden Callen by fall, Austin Silk won over Kael McAloon of Merrimack by fall, Luke Emond of Merrimack won over Isabelle Brandt by medical decision, 12-3, and Brennon Mielke of Souhegan won against Avery Lanteigne by fall.
Winnacunnet Wins Against Portsmouth
Hampton wrestlers bested the Clippers on Wednesday night, 51 to 30.
For Winnacunnet, Kane Knight in the 120 best Justin Maynard by fall, Reid Campbell in 138 beat Logan Chasse by fall, Bryce Mixon beat Michael Shortill 10-9 in the 150. Colton Stevens beat Alex Sykora and Dominic Young beat Cullen Dennett by falls. For Portsmouth, Andrew Craig beat Luke Andruskevich by fall in the 132, in the 144, Stephen Whisler beat Oliver Perreault by fall, and Evan Cook bested Connor Nicol by fall, too.
Luke Polizzo and Carter Kuhn of Portsmouth won by forfeit, while Winnacunnet wrestlers Ethan Gahm, Sean Talas, Conor Campbell, and Zach Lavy won by forfeit.
Other Results
Goffstown beat Manchester West, 65 to 15. Samuel Cruz in the 126 and Jhystoni Rivera won in the 157, while Jayden Nartey won by forfeit in the 215-weight category.
Milford beat Kingswood Regional, 47 to 25.
Calix Lajoie in the 132 won by fall, as did Cameron Stickney in the 144 and Nathanael Post in the 190, and Jack Clancey in the 215.
Kane Davis, Kiernan Lordan, Tanner Herbert, and Phillip Wright all won by forfeit.
