Dad Of 2 Killed In Motorcycle Crash In Somerset County, Meal Train Started For Family

BOUND BROOK, NJ — A motorcyclist from Bound Brook, who was involved in a serious crash last week in Franklin Township, has died from his injuries leaving behind two young children.

Wilson Gonzalez-Rivera, 31, of Bound Brook, was identified as the man killed in the crash, confirmed Franklin Police Lt. Vincent T. Wilson.

The crash was reported on Aug. 15 at 7:36 p.m. involving a motorcycle and another vehicle near 5 Manville Causeway, near Weston Canal Road. Gonzalez-Rivera was airlifted to a hospital but died on Aug. 16 from his injuries.

Gonzalez-Rivera leaves behind his long-term girlfriend Alyssa and their two kids Zayden (almost 1 year) and Ellyani (almost 5 years old), according to a Meal Train set up for the family.
