Man smashes wine glass in rival’s face during bar fight over woman

A man smashed a wine glass in someone’s face while they were fighting over a woman at a Brooklyn bar, police said Wednesday.

The melee broke out around 3:45 a.m. Friday inside Falada Lounge on Emmons Avenue in Sheepshead Bay, cops said.

The men were arguing when the dispute escalated — with the stranger hitting the victim in the face with a glass.

The suspect then fled from the watering hole, leaving his victim with cuts to his face and a scratched cornea, police said.

He was taken to NYU Lutheran Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
