The Hamptons\u2019 hottest summer party spots for 2019

This summer, the Hamptons are finally back with a bang.

The latest and greatest new arrival to the Hamptons’ party scene is the Hedge Club in Southampton. Movie producer Michael Tadross Jr. (who has worked on films such as “LBJ” and “I Am Legend”) has taken over the former 1Oak space at 125 Tuckahoe Lane, bankrolling a million-dollar renovation and reimagining the space as a Hamptons interpretation of Monaco party spot Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo. Tadross tapped California nightlife guru Michael Viscuso (known for the Kress in Hollywood, V2O in Long Beach and the On Broadway Event Center in San Diego) to bring the club to life.

“All I wanted was to create a place where people could come together and have a great time,” says Tadross, who grew up summering in Southampton. “Being in the film business, I’ve traveled the world, and I wanted to bring a piece from each of the places I love to the Hamptons through this venue.”

While the integrity of the historic building (once used for potato storage) has been preserved, look for contemporary elements like Instagram-ready art by artist Iness Kaplun, swank tufted booths, a 40-foot copper bar and royal-blue sofas in the large patio area.

If drinks at the bar isn’t your style, Hedge Club will offer reserved table service with bottles from Dom Pérignon, Ace of Spades Champagne, Casamigos tequila, Jon Bon Jovi’s Hampton Water and Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation Gin, to name a few. Tadross also installed state-of-the-art sound, light and video equipment, which will support performances by the likes of Jermaine Dupri, Funkmaster Flex and DJ Enuff. “This is going to be a happy place for everyone,” says Tadross.

Nearby, in the Village of Southampton, restaurateur Zach Erdem has reinvented his Hamptons night club AM Southampton. Once a large venue known for hosting rappers like 50 Cent, Fat Joe and Cazwell, the club has moved to the back of the old Nello’s space at 136 Main St., and is more exclusive than ever.

“It’s lounge style,” Erdem says of the 28-table club. “And it’s not for people who want to have a couple of beers. It’s strictly bottle service. It’s an upscale crowd, my regulars. You need my number to get in.”

Expect elegant red cushions, a sexy VIP area, a tree-shaded patio and performances by DJs Phresh, Klutch and M Ortiz.

Finally, Surf Lodge, Montauk’s favorite see-and-be-seen hangout, is kicking off again with a full slate of festivities. After winning a drawn-out battle with the town over its live-music permit (and a few Memorial Day hiccups), the venue, at 183 Edgemere St., is bringing back the funk with performances throughout the summer by Lukas Nelson, J-Love, Donavon Frankenreiter, Bob Moses, Durand Jones, Ella Mai and Wild Bells. And if you just wanna dance, Surf Lodge has booked James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, who will DJ regularly throughout the season.

The venue has also partnered with Grey Goose this summer, creating a new cocktail menu filled with custom-flavored vodka sodas blended specifically for Surf Lodge guests.

Party on.
