Motorcyclist, a 100-year-old magazine, is the latest to go all-digital, but editor-in-chief Chris Cantle and his staff will remain on board to put out a digital version.

“Like other enthusiast-content segments, motorcycle readership has evolved to a truly digital audience,” said Andy Leisner, senior VP and managing director of the Motorcycle Group at parent company Bonnier. “There have been substantial shifts in consumer content preferences as well as advertisers’ desire to reach motorcycle consumers on these growing digital platforms.”

Bonnier halted print versions of Hot Biker, Dirt Rider and Sport Rider more than a year ago and cut Cycle World to a quarterly.

Over the past three years, a dozen motorcycle titles have folded or gone all-digital.
