Roger Federer vs Alexander Zverev on serve: Mats Wilander draws differences

On Eurosport during the Game, Schett and Mats programme, the tennis legend made an interesting comparison between performances on serve.

The Swede believes that the German improved this shot lately, which will be the key for him to triumph on the biggest stages in the future. Sascha Zverev has one of the biggest serves in the game, said Wilander.

He served 208km/h on average during last years Australian Open and he only won 72% of it. Compared to Roger Federer, who served 191km/h on average and won 82%. Thats a big difference. He has to work on backing up his serve.

Starting in London and throughout this years Australian Open, he is dictating his serve and he heads forward into the court after serving. Look up for him, he is gonna be really dangerous. He is two meters tall and he needs to be aggressive.

On Zverevs first-round win over Aljaz Bedene, Wilander added: He was a little bit passive in the beginning, then he came up. Aljaz Bedene is a great ball-striker as an opponent, but Sascha is asking so much of him because he is doing so well on the regular tour but she has not done it in the Grand Slams.

But he is only 21 years old and with that victory in the ATP Finals in November beating Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic looks for him to do big things. ALSO READ: Rafael Nadal: Worse players than David Ferrer won a Grand Slam title
