Enzo Amore Says He Hopes Neville Returns to WWE Television Despite Likelihood of Release

As noted, former Cruiserweight Champion Neville appears to be in a “standoff” with WWE, as he has not appeared on television in months after growing frustrated with his position in the company.

In a new interview with The UK’s Sun, current WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore praised his former nemesis Neville, and urged WWE to come to some sort of an agreement with The Man Gravity forgot, allowing him to return to TV.

“Neville is one of my favourite pros in the business. He carried NXT with that title and was a tag-team champion there,” said Enzo Amore.

“Then he worked the 205 division with the hardest schedule in silence, he was working Friday, Saturday and Sunday and then Mondays and Tuesdays.

“When guys were catching red-eye flights from the west coast after Raw, Neville was driving on to the next town or taking an early morning flight.

“It’s the hardest schedule in pro wrestling because you are closing out 205 at the end of the week.

“I hope Neville comes back and we feud. I have never seen a guy work like he does.

As we noted last week, WWE 205 Live star Hideo Itami is now using a modified version of Neville’s Rings of Saturn finishing maneuver, which is not a good sign that WWE and Neville are working towards a reconciliation.
