Olivia Munn: ‘Amazing’ if Aaron Rodgers’ family drama is over

Olivia Munn spent years in the middle of Aaron Rodgers’ dysfunctional relationship with his family.

It was speculated that the “Newsroom” actress, who dated the Packers quarterback from 2014 to ’17, was the cause of the friction, though no one has pinned down the exact reason for the drama. It appears there has been a family reconciliation after Rodgers mentioned that his parents were in town for his 35th birthday celebration Sunday.

Munn, 38, was excited to hear the news.

“If that’s true, it’s amazing,” Munn told TMZ on Thursday night. “It’s long overdue.”

Rodgers is currently dating former NASCAR and IndyCar star Danica Patrick, who threw the murder mystery party for Rodgers that his parents apparently attended. Patrick has not spoken on the Rodgers family issues, but Munn did offer her opinion once she was clear of the wreckage.

“There’s a lot of complications. I don’t think either side of the road is clean, but I do think it’s not OK if you try to stand on someone’s shoulders, then throw dirt in their face, that’s what I think,” the actress said in May.

The tension seemed to reach new heights recently when Rodgers’ brother Jordan — of “Bachelorette” fame — called out Aaron for not contacting their parents during the recent California wildfires that ravaged the northern part of the state.
