Giants pull off crazy Odell Beckham trick play for touchdown

The Giants promoted Kyle Lauletta, but it was neither he nor Eli Manning who threw the most interesting pass Sunday.

Odell Beckham Jr. had the most surprising toss of the day, hooking up with Russell Shepard for a 49-yard touchdown early in the third quarter that brought the Giants over Chicago, 17-14, with about 13 minutes to play in the period.

On the play, Manning shoveled behind him to Beckham, who caught the lateral and ran right, deciding whether he would have running room or a receiver open. After a few seconds of scanning the field and dancing, he wound up and skied a pass to the 5-yard line, where Shepard was waiting with no Bears defender in sight.

It was the second Beckham pass this season and second touchdown. On the receiving end, Beckham had caught two passes for 34 yards in the matchup.
